More than reading comprehension problems
*Val calls me over to her desk. She points to a file attachment on an outlook email.
Val: what should I do with this file?
*I am feeling pretty good. Normally when she calls me over to ask about something she does not remember what or where it is. I have to wait several minutes while she futzes around and babbles while she looks for it. This must be my lucky day!
Me: open the file and read it.
*I cannot read the file until she opens it.
Val: Huh?
Me: open the file and read it.
Val: I don’t understand.
Me: open the file attachment on the email in front of you.
Val: what’s that?
Me: ‘document.pdf’ It is the file attachment on the email in front of you.
Val: where is that?
Me. It is spelled D-O-C-U-M-E-N-T dot P-D-F. Document.pdf. It is the file attachment on the email in front of you.
Val: I Don’t understand
